Kim Dickinson

MS/CCC

Kim Dickinson, MS, CCC-SLP, joined Speech Pathology PRN in 2012. Kim has worked with children in schools for over 20 years.

Why did you become a speech language pathologist?

After completing an aptitude test in college, it was suggested that I take the introductory course in communication disorders. The aptitude test revealed that I was a best match for a career helping others, working 1:1 to support improved quality of life. I took the introductory course, fell in love with the profession, and never looked back!

What do you feel are your areas of specialization?

Language, articulation, and phonological disorders in school age children. I enjoy working in the school environment, collaborating with teachers, administrators, students, and parents to ensure the best possible outcome for those I serve.

A fun fact about Kim: I was once featured in AT&T commercials.
